Itinerary

08.00am pick up from Hotel

Welcome and picked up at your hotel by our local English-speaking tour guide and private driver.

Then go visit our first temple.

08.30amVisit Golden Buddha Temple

Wat Trimitr-Golden Buddha Temple is located in China Town. The temple houses the highly revered 5.5 tonne pure solid gold sitting Buddha from 1300AD.

09.15amDrive through China Town

After finishing the golden Buddha Temple, drive through China Town to get a glimpse of the main business area along Yao Wa Ratch Road.

Yao-Wa-Rach Road is also a well-known food walking street at night, starting from 19.00pm until mid-night.

Next stop, the Flower Market

09.30amVisit Flower Market

The Bangkok Flower Market is the biggest fresh flower market in Bangkok. The market is named “Pak-Khlong Ta-Lad,” which means “the market at the mount of the canal.” It is open around the clock every day. Every night, late at night and early in the morning, there are varieties of fresh flowers delivered from all parts of Thailand here. The flower market looks like only flowers, but in fact it is full of things from the local area, such as vegetables, cooking ingredients, and seasonal Thai fruits. Then, every second here always looks busy.

Next up, it’s time to hop on a TUK TUK to visit Wat Pho, the Reclining Buddha Temple.

10.30amVisit Wat Pho

Wat Pho is a breathtaking complex that houses the famous and impressive Reclining Buddha and the birthplace of Traditional Thai Massage.

After that, go to the Royal Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha Temple.

11.30amVisit Royal Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha Temple

The Royal Grand Palace, the jewel in Bangkok’s architectural crown, was built in 1782 AD. The former royal residences of King Rama I, II, III, and IV. It is still used for royal and state ceremonies.

In the same compound-located the most frequently visited by foreign tourists and locals, “the Emerald Buddha Temple,” which houses the most highly revered Buddha Image carved from one piece of jade.

Inside, it is so richly and intricately decorated that once entering, you will feel as if you were in the “City of Angels”.

After that, go for lunch.

13.00pmLunch Time

Lunch is at a local Restaurant.

13.30pmCanal of Bangkok Tour

After lunch, hop on a long-tail boat-dubed-“James Bond boat” because it got famous from the James Bond 007 movie “The Man with the Golden Gun,” in which some sections were filmed in Thailand.

Bangkok was once named the “Venice of the East” because there was canal net work that has been used for daily day lives.

Exploring Bangkok’s canals by longtail boat is one of the great ways to learn and get experience of the daily day-to-day life of the locals.

Also, some of the Khlongs are still used as the waterway network for Bangkok transportation.

Next, visit Marble Temple.

15.00pmVisit Marble Temple

Wat Benchamabophit, the Marble Temple, where the ashes of our beloved King Rama V have been enshrined, is one of the most modern works of Thai religious architecture, graceful and tranquil.

It is famous for its main building, “Ubosot or Chapel,” which was built with the Italian white Carara Marble and houses the replica of the most beautiful Buddha in Thailand, “Phra Buddha Chinnarat.”

16.00pmBack to Hotel or Shopping

Couple Traveller

Although the events in this tour can be done yourself, I feel that Saichon gave great insight and guidance. He was very accommodating and was flexible to changing up the tour upon our request. Even after the tour was over, he was very helpful for the duration of my stay in Bangkok, helping me to arrange other events I was interested in and answering any questions I had about his country. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Not only did I get a good guide, I got a good friend.
