Day 2Bangkok >Highlights of Bangkok Tour

After breakfast, you will be picked up and driven around Bangkok’s highlights.

  • Visit the Golden Buddha Temple

Wat Trimitr-Golden Buddha Temple is located in China Town. The temple houses the highly revered 5.5 tonne pure solid gold Buddha from 1300AD.

  • Drive through China Town.

After finishing the golden Buddha Temple, drive through China Town to get a glimpse of the main business area along Yao Wa Rach Road.

Yao-Wa-Rach Road is also a well-known food walking street at night, starting from 19.00pm until mid-night.

Next stop, the Flower Market

  • Visit the Flower Market.

The Bangkok Flower Market is the biggest fresh flower market in Bangkok. The market is named “Pak-Khlong Ta-Lad,” which means “the market at the mount of the canal.” It is open around the clock every day. Every night, late at night and early in the morning, there are varieties of fresh flowers delivered from all parts of Thailand here. The flower market looks like only flowers, but in fact it is full of things from the local area, such as vegetables, cooking ingredients, and seasonal Thai fruits. Then, every second here always looks busy.

Next up, it is time to hop on a TUK TUK.

  • Visit Wat Pho.

Wat Pho is a breathtaking complex that houses the famous and impressive Reclining Buddha and the birthplace of Traditional Thai Massage. 

After that

  • Visit the Royal Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha Temple.

The Royal Grand Palace, the jewel in Bangkok’s architectural crown, was built in 1782 AD. The former royal residences of King Rama I, II, III, and IV. It is still used for royal and state ceremonies.

In the same compound-located the most frequently visited by foreign tourists and locals, “the Emerald Buddha Temple,” which houses the most highly revered Buddha Image carved from one piece of jade.

Inside, it is so richly and intricately decorated that once entering, you will feel as if you were in the “City of Angels”.

  • Visit Marble Temple.

Wat Benchamabophit, the Marble Temple, where the ashes of our beloved King Rama V have been enshrined, is one of the most modern works of Thai religious architecture, graceful and tranquil.

The highlight is “Ubosot or Chapel”, which was built with the Italian white Carara Marble and houses the replica of the most beautiful Buddha in Thailand, “Phra Buddha Chinnarat”.

Day 3Highlights of Ayutthaya & Transfer to Amphawa > Samutsongkram

After breakfast, check out and pick up to explore.

The unique, breathtaking historical complex of the former 417-year ancient capital of Siam

First, pay a visit to the iconic

  • Wat Yai Chai Mongkol

It was built in the mid-15th century. King Naresuan the Great (who ruled Ayutthaya between 1590 and 1605 AD) added a large Chedi to the temple ground to commemorate his victory over the Burmese.

Then continue to visit.

  • Wat Mahathat

It is a religious center where the Buddha‘s relic is kept and the residence of the Supreme Patriarch.

The sandstone Buddha head, which has been stuck in the root of the Bodhi tree since 1767 AD, is one of the highlights.

Next up, proceed to

  • Wat Phrasrisanphet

The temple was used for royal ceremonies and storing royal relics and royal residences.

Most of the buildings were burned, but still have their charm and are attractive to visitors.

Next, take

  • A boat trip surround Ayutthaya Island.

Geographically, Ayutthaya has been surrounded by three rivers that make the ancient capital city an Island. In addition, the local made their settlements along the rivers. A 45-minutes boat trip lets you experience and see the local life by the river, together with the old city fortress, wall and magnificent temple that were built along.

Day 4Railway Market & Damnoen Saduak Floating Market & Transfer to Kanchanaburi

  • 09.30 a.m. > Canal Tour on a Longtail Boat

Take a longtail boat through the elaborated canal network and pass by villages, plantations, and fruit orchards. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the main Damnoen Saduak Floating Market.

  • 10 a.m. > Enjoy the Floating Market, shopping, eating, and strolling around.

To experience Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where locals in traditional farmer’s dress and hat paddle their small boat full of varieties of fresh tropical Thai fruits and many other kinds of local ready-to-serve food.

Here, you can walk to see around or buy a ticket for 150 THB for a seat on a paddle boat and go along the canal to experience the market.

Or just relax by sitting and sipping local coffee.

Spend some time here until 10:30 a.m.

  • 10.30 a.m.: Depart from the Floating Market for Kanchanaburi.

At 10.30am, leave Damnoen Saduak Floating Market for Kanchanaburi province.

After that, visit Kanchanaburi‘s WW II Memorial.

  • Watch them enjoy playing in a mud pit.
  • Bathing, playing, or swimming with elephants in the river.
