Damnoen Saduak Floating Market & Highlights of Bangkok Tour

  • 7:00 a.m. -> Pick-Up Time

Welcome & pick-up from your hotel by our local English-speaking tour guide and private driver. Then head to Damnoan Saduak Floating Market in Ratchaburi province.

It takes about 1.30 hours to reach there.

Our first stop is at the Longtail boat pier.

  • 08.30 a.m. > Board a longtail boat to the Floating Market.

Next up, take a longtail boat through the elaborated canal network, passing through villages, plantations, and fruit orchards, and indulge in the natural atmosphere.

It takes about 20 minutes on board to arrive at Damnoen Saduak Floating Market.

  • 09.00am > Enjoy the Floating Market, shopping, eating, and strolling around.

To experience Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where locals in traditional farmer’s dress and hat paddle their small boat full of varieties of fresh tropical Thai fruits and many other kinds of local ready-to-serve food,

Here, you can walk to see around or buy a ticket for 150 THB for a seat on a paddle boat and go along the canal to experience the market.

Or just relax by sitting and sipping local coffee.

Spend time here until 10.30am, then go back to Bangkok.

At 10.30am, leave Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and return to Bangkok.

After that, visit the Royal Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha Temple.

The Royal Grand Palace, the jewel in Bangkok’s architectural crown, was built in 1782 AD. The former royal residences of King Rama I, II, III, and IV. It is still used for royal and state ceremonies.

In the same compound-located the most frequently visited by foreign tourists and locals, “the Emerald Buddha Temple,” which houses the most highly revered Buddha image carved from one piece of jade.

Inside, it is so richly and intricately decorated that once entering, you will feel as if you were in the “City of Angels”. 

Next up, a little walk to visit

  • Wat Pho

A stunning complex that houses the famous and impressive Reclining Buddha, as well as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage.

Then continue to visit our last temple.

Wat Benchamaborpit “, which is home to the much more appealing Italian white Carara Marble Building.

After that, go back to the hotel or go shopping. Your choice.

Day 3Highlights & Hidden Gems of Ayutthaya Tour

Check out and pick up for the Ayutthaya Tour after breakfast.

  • Explore Ayutthaya Historical Park.

The one-of-a-kind and breathtaking historical complex of Siam’s former (417-year-old) ancient capital.

First, visit

  • Wat Yai Chai Mongkol

It was built in the mid-15th century. King Naresuan the Great (who ruled Ayutthaya between 1590 and 1605 AD) added a large Chedi to the temple ground to commemorate his victory over the Burmese. 

After that, continue to visit

  • Wat Mahathat

It is a religious center where the Buddha‘s relic is kept and the residence of the Supreme Patriarch.

The sandstone Buddha head, which has been stuck in the root of the Bodhi tree since 1767 AD, is one of the highlights.

  • Wat Phra Sri San Phet.

The temple was used for royal ceremonies and storing royal relics and was the royal residence.

Most of the buildings were burned, but they still have their charm and are attractive to visitors.

Next, take

  • A boat trip surround Ayutthaya Island.

Geographically, Ayutthaya has been surrounded by three rivers that make the ancient capital city an Island. In addition, the local made their settlements along the rivers. Day 4Lopburi > Old Khmer Kingdom & 2nd Palace of King Narai of Ayutthaya, 1565-1688AD, then proceed to Pitsanulok

First, visit

Khmer Stone Sunctuary, dating from the 10th–13th centuries, is located in the heart of the city and is dominated by groups of monkeys.

Next up to sightsee is the former palace of Ayutthaya’s King:

  • Phra Narai Ratchanivet

Ayutthaya’s famous King, “King Na Rai,” who ruled Ayutthaya between 1656 and 1688 AD and sent an ambassador to France in the reign of “King Louis 14.”

Then proceed to Pitsanulok.

Once arrive stop to visit

  • The iconic Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat, the iconic temple which houses the most beautiful Buddha in Thailand, was built in the late 1300AD “Sukhothai Period”.

After that, check into your hotel.

Day 5Sukhothai > Sri Sat Cha Na Lai Historical Park

After breakfast, check out and pick up for the visit.

  • ” Sri Sat Cha Na Lai Historical Park, literally meaning “City of Good People”, was founded in 1250AD as the second centre of the “Sukhothai Kingdom”.

It was the residence of the Crown Prince in the 13th and 14th centuries. The city was rectangular in shape. In the 16th century, a 5 meter high wall with an upstream moat was built to fend off the growing Burmese attacks.

The location of the town was facilitated by two neighboring dominant hills.

After that, proceed to Sukhothai.

Day 6Visit Sukhothai Historical Park. then proceed to Lampang

  • “World Heritage” Sukhothai Historical Park.

From 1238 to 1238 AD, it served as Thailand’s first capital.The city’s walls form a rectangle about 2 km (1.2 miles) east-west by 1.6 km (0.9 miles) north-south.

There are 193 ruins on 70 sq. km of land. Inside are the remains of the Royal Palace and 26 temples, the largest being Wat Mahathat.

  • Lunch at a local restaurant on the way.

Next up, continue to Lampang.

Day 7Lampang Highlights Tour, then proceed to Chiang Mai.

  • Wat Phra That Lampang Luang”, where the history of Lampang begins & the iconic Lan-na style temple which houses the bones relics of the Buddha.

  • Wat Phra Kaeo Don Tao, The Emerald Buddha, was originally installed here between 1434 and 1468 AD, before being relocated to Chiang Mai, Laos, and now Bangkok.

Day 8Chiang Mai > First Day Highlights Tour of Chiang Mai and White Temple in Chiang Rai

Check out and pick up your visit after breakfast:

  • Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the Temple of the Buddha’s Relics, located about 15 km from the city of Chiang Mai and at an elevation of 1,073 meters from the temple, impressive views of downtown Chiang Mai are visible.

Next, visit the legendary Kayan (Karen) Tribes.

  • In “Long Neck Karen Village ( Baan Tong Luang )”, traditionally, girls and women wear brass coils around their necks.

Next up, continue to visit

  • Wat Rong-Khun, better known to tourists as the “White Temple,” is a contemporary, unconventional, privately owned art exhibit in the style of a Buddhist temple.

Then continue to visit Sing Park at Chiang Rai and have lunch here.

After lunch, proceed to visit.

  • Wat Phra Singh is the second most venerated temple in Chiang Mai after Wat Phra That Doi Su-Thep.

It houses the three main structures. The main attraction is the elegantly decorated Lai-Kam assembly hall and its restored murals depicting the lives of locals hundreds of years ago.

Located inside the old city wall, the temple’s signature Lanna-style roofs and glittering Chedi.

Then back to the hotel > relax > see around at the Night Market > Free Time
